Your New Company/Role:

As one of the established and rapidly growing organization, my client is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their growing team, based in Silverwater 2128. This is a permanent full time position. Candidate must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia.

This role would be ideal for someone who has some exposure within the end to end credit control function - managing outstanding debts, conducting credit checks, resolving problems in relation to outstanding invoices and reconciling month end accounts.

About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:

Reporting into a supportive and nurturing CFO:

Your duties include:

  • Reviewing and setting up new accounts - credit checking
  • Creating customer accounts in the system
  • Maintain the corporate credit policy
  • Forecasting of cash receipts
  • Attend monthly debtors meeting with department heads
  • Follow-up on outstanding and overdue debts & invoices by phone and email
  • Generating financial statements and reports clearly detailing accounts receivable status
  • Escalating customer queries and identify issues for no payment
  • Receive and review credit applications
  • Accurate processing of accounts and incoming payments

Ideal Profile

This opportunity is for someone who has experience within end-to-end Credit Controller duties with an Accounting background. You will also bring:

  • Diploma/Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or related work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of credit control or equivalent experience
  • Has worked on high volume transactions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exposure to large ERP systems - Coins would be highly beneficial but not mandatory
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Good at time management and problem solving
  • Exposure working in a fast paced environment

Benefits

  • $70,000 - $85,000 + Super (based on experience) - can go slightly more for the right person
  • Permanent full time opportunity

  • 2 days work from home - only once up to speed/passed probationary period
